Your Role:
HyET Solar is pioneering the development of cutting-edge technologies that are instrumental in the global energy transition. Our lightweight, flexible solar foil is manufactured using a unique roll-to-roll production process, and our team is continuously optimizing and refining this process to enhance performance and efficiency. With 20 machines on site, each at different stages of progress, our operations are geared towards precision and innovation.
As an Electrical Engineer at HyET Solar, you will be responsible for the electrical systems that drive our advanced production machinery. You will design, develop, and maintain the electrical components and systems that are crucial to our manufacturing process. Your expertise will ensure that our machines operate reliably, efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our solar foil production.
You will work closely with the machine design and process engineering teams to improve electrical systems into our production lines. This includes troubleshooting, optimizing existing systems, and designing new solutions to meet the evolving needs of our production process. Additionally, you will be involved in the generator design of the next generation plasma sources for the deposition of our solar cell materials.
What will you bring
- A MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on electrical systems design and maintenance.
- Proficiency in electrical CAD software and familiarity with PLC programming.
- Experience with automation systems and process control is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to support the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Fluent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical systems.

- Competitive salary, ranging between €4,500 and €5,500 per month, depending on experience.
