A position for someone with a passion for the Data Analysis in sustainable energy sector

Your Role:

HyET Solar is developing a product that will add a large value to the world of energy transition. The entire roll-to-roll production process of our lightweight flexible solar foil is unique in this world and our teams work constantly on optimization and improvements. We currently have 20 machines on site, in different stages of progress. They operate in a clean environment, are slow and precise and handle several processes (i.e. gas deposition, lamination or drying).

What you will do as Data-Analyst / MES specialist:

  • Set up data pipelines to take factory and field data and prepare for visualization;
  • Program data visualization dashboards and automated reporting to understand complex factory data sets;
  • Optimize data analysis algorithms to monitor factory quality;
  • Assist R&D teams by analyzing complex data to make decisions on recipe development, process optimization, etc;
  • Help to develop a full MES for a production facility.                                          

What will you bring

  • ·You have a completed college or university degree in the field of Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, Technical Computer Science or a similar program;
  • 2 – 5 years of Data Analysis experience or experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge ISA-95 and ISA-88;
  • Understanding fundamentals statistical concept, methods used in SPC and OEE;
  • It is an advantage if you have knowledge of MES systems and/or Dashboard development (Shiny experience is a plus);
  • Basic knowledge hardware, software, networking and Cybersecurity;
  • Keen eye for detail, accurate and an independent worker. But also a team player;
  • You can communicate in English fluently.

  • A fulltime position for 40 hours per week, mostly within office hours;
  • A salary ranging between € 3.500,00 and € 5.000 for a 40 hours working week;
  • 27 holidays and 13 scheduled paid days per year for a fulltime job;

HyET Solar is based in Arnhem and has developed a new cost-efficient technology to produce flexible lightweight solar modules. Examples of applications include modern, differently shaped roofs, facades such as those of large oil storage tanks, and construction limited roofs such as airports, shopping malls, distribution centers. We are currently in the process of scaling up from pilot production to commercial production of our solar foil. HyET Solar consists of an experienced and international team of around 60 colleagues.
