Your role:
HyET Solar is at the forefront of developing innovative products that significantly contribute to the energy transition. Our lightweight, flexible solar foil is manufactured using a unique roll-to-roll production process, which is constantly being optimized and improved by our dedicated teams. Our facility houses 20 machines, each at various stages of development, operating in a clean environment and handling processes such as gas deposition, lamination, and drying.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you are structured, hands-on, you understand CAD, but are in love with your wrench. You will play a key role in the development and optimization of our machinery and production processes. You will be responsible for the design, modification, and implementation of machine components and systems, ensuring that they meet the evolving needs of our production lines. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes.
You will collaborate closely with process engineers and the Research & Development team to develop new machinery, enhance existing equipment, and design next generation machine equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our machines are reliable, efficient, and capable of producing our solar products to the highest standards.
What will you bring
· A BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
· At least 7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in mechanical design and process optimization.
· Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
· A hands-on approach, with the ability to guide the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
· Fluent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
· Experience with automation and process control is an advantage.
· A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

· A full-time position (40 hours per week).
· Competitive salary, ranging between €4,500 and €5,500 per month, depending on experience.
