As Software engineer you play a crucial role in the optimalisation and continuity of our machines. You will support the teams with process research, modification and optimization of the machine controls and HMI’s in the factory. As member of the Software-team, you help improve the current generation of machines. You work closely with the leads of the process engineers or cooperate in a project team. 

You are responsible for the continuity of the machines. You analyze malfunctions of machines in the software, but also in the instrumentation. The result of your work is immediately visible in our factory.

What will you bring 

  • You have a completed college or university degree in the field of Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, Technical Computer Science, Mechatronics or a similar program; 
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role; 
  • Experience with programming PLC, SCADA and HMI, preferably Siemens; 
  • Knowledge of industrial network technologies such as Profinet, Profibus and network devices; 
  • You have an affinity with machine safety; 
  • It is an advantage if you have knowledge of Historians and/or MES systems; 
  • Keen eye for detail, accurate and an independent worker. But also a team player; 
  • You can communicate in English fluently. 

What We Offer: 

  • Our terms and conditions are conforming the Collective Agreement Metalektro (CAO); 
  • A fulltime position for 40 hours per week, mostly within office hours; 
  • A salary ranging between € 4.000,- and € 6.000,- for a 40 hours working week depending on relevant working experience; 
  • 27 holidays and 13 scheduled paid days per year for a fulltime job; 
  • Pension scheme at PME;

Based in Arnhem, HyET Solar is at the forefront of developing flexible, lightweight solar modules. We are scaling up from pilot to commercial production, with diverse applications in modern, uniquely shaped roofs, facades, and other construction-limited environments such as airports, shopping malls, and distribution centers.
