As an Electrical Engineer, you will be the key person in developing and specifying the electrical aspects of our array of production equipment. One key aspect in the manufacturing of our production process is the plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition (PECVD) process in which we use an electrically ignited plasma (RF and VHF frequencies) for growing thin films. For the development of the equipment for this process we require in depth knowledge of electrical (antenna) design and of the of the equipment required to produce these electric fields.
You will be pivotal in the specification, design, installation and commissioning of our future machinery. Your work will have a direct impact on improving efficiency and boosting the reliability of our processes.
We are ideally looking for candidates who will not only be keen to use their theoretical and design background, but also are eager to work hands on together with a multi disciplinary team and our partners to bring the newly developed equipment into real production.
Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and:
- At least an MSc in Radiofrequency electronics, Electrical Engineers, or a related field, with proven experience with electromagnetic design
- A hands- on approach as evident from previous work or as evident from other activities.

About HyET Solar:
Based in Arnhem, HyET Solar is at the forefront of developing flexible, lightweight solar modules. We are scaling up from pilot to commercial production, with diverse applications in modern, uniquely shaped roofs, facades, and other construction-limited environments such as airports, shopping malls, and distribution centers. Our facility is equipped with 20 advanced machines at various stages of development. Handling processes such as gas deposition, lamination and drying. We have an international team of around 70 passionate colleagues and contribute to the energy transition by making innovative roll-to-roll processed solar foils.
We are constantly looking to make major updates to our current machine line and are on the verge of starting to design the next generation machines for our most complex processes.
